Welcome to my new ride. This Suzuki katana is a work in progress.
In addition to what you see here, I will be adding an EFI system and later on a turbo. You can click the BLOG button on this page to keep up to date on further progress and to see the past work done.

THE ENGINE:
Has had the crank trued and welded by Stan Gardner. Straight cut gears, 1260cc 10.25:1 compression Wiseco pistons, Web .370 lift cams, adjustable cam sprockets, manual cam chain adjuster, hi flow oil pump gears, radius/back cut stainless steel oversized valves, ported/flowed head, matched intake boots, topend oil cooler kit, welded heavy duty clutch basket, quick access clutch cover (required extended clutch actuator arm), Earl's 10 row long oil cooler with all stainless hose/anodized fitting and 1150 oil filter cover, 36mm Mikuni RS Flat Slide carburetors (soon to be Hilborn throttle bodies), Pingel dual feed polished fuel valve, K&N pod filters, billet oil catch can, crank case vent hose connected to clutch cover, Vance and Hines chrome megaphone header, billet sprocket cover of my own design, offset sprocket from SUPERIORSPROCKETS.COM (see links page) and powder coated engine. I won't do another powder coated cases bike. Next time will be painted cases and powder coated covers, block and head. GSX 1150ef igntion cover, series Compufire regulator/rectifier module, hard welded rockers, APE valve springs
IGNITION:
Dyna 2000, Dyna coils,
wires - The Dyna coils are larger than the stock coils so you need to make a new mounting bracket. If you don't, and you mount them with the inner mounting holes, you will greatly increase your chances of grounding out the coils to the frame causing cylinders to misfire.
SUSPENSION:
1992 GSXR 750 forks, 2000 CBR 954 triples, 1995 GSXR wheels, and brakes, stainless steel brake lines, Galfer wave rotors, trimmed 2006 GSXR 1000 front fender, custom billet fork brace, 1999 GSXF Bandit 1200 swing arm, 2005 GSXR 1000 rear caliper/hanger assembly. Exoticycle bolt up swing arm extensions (tacked on for added safety), Raceteck .9 front springs, Ohlins rear shocks, Shinko tires (180/55-17, 120/60-17), Supersprox rear sprocket
CHASSIS:
Braced 1983 GSX 750 frame, powder coated with "black magic", custom battery box, APE push pull throttle, Pazzo shorty levers, Kawasaki ZR 1200 clutch perch was used to make use of the mirror mount, GSXR front brake master with mini Ducati resevoir. Billet mirrors, billet 3 way adjustable riser clipon handlebars. Custom flush mount Harley Davidson fuel cap. custom contoured body panels, Z06 corvette "ATOMIC ORANGE" paint with hand painted pin striping.
ELECTRICAL:
All electrics were moved under seat, SPA speedometer tachometer mounted in a billet clocks pod. Custom mounted led warning lights, HID headlight, headlight on/off switch with headlight off warning led, low fuel warning system out of a Suzuki SV650. Digital gear indicator, 2.2 pound lithium battery, unique LED signals, waterproof USB charger for my iPhone, digital voltage display, RFID digital keyless ignition system developed in house and for sale on my parts site.
