1260 STRETCHED: Custom 1983 gs1260sd Katana with 1260cc Wiseco piston kit. This Katana is fully customized from the braced powder coated frame to the 1992 GSXR 750 forks. Many extras including, bandit wheels and swing arm, bolt on extensions, CBR 954 triple clamps, V&H header and more.
This bike was featured in "Streetfighters UK" and "Canadian Biker" Magazines. (see left)
ZZR 1135: The heart of this ZZR Katana is an 1135cc power plant monitored by a "VAPOR" digital instrument panel. If you look close you will see an 1100E tail grafted in. This Suzuki was modeled after the famous Yoshimura 1135 Katana. Fitted with ZZR wheels, forks and swing arm this bike rocks and very difficult to hotwire as its sporting a keyless key fob actuated ignition.
'82 7/1150: This beast started life as a 1982 GS750SZ. Now, rolling on GSXR 750 polished forks, polished wheels and calipers. This Katana is more stock than some on the site but the black/grey with polished accents draws plenty of attention. The heart of this Katana is a 1984 GS1150EF power plant with a Wiseco 1230cc piston kit.
'82 7/11: This 1982 GS750SZ is now powered by a 1982 GS1100SZ engine bored out to 1166cc. This Katana has been dyno'd @ 132bhp here at sea level. Feeding those Wisecos are 36mm Mikuni Radial Flatslide carburetors and Web cams. The GSXR 180 rear tire really helps to keep the power to the ground.
1983 1166: GS1100SD Katana bored to 1166cc. Bandit 1200 polished swing arm, polished 1993 GSXR 750 wheels. The swing arm was modified to accept the 1993 GSXR armless caliper. I think it looks much cleaner that way. I also like using the quick change clutch covers and billet outboard bearing support kits. Of course CBR 954 triples are a must on all the bikes.
